Privacy Policy

What we store

• Your Discord user ID, username and avatar, from signing in with Discord.
• Your Discord email address. It is kept only in your login session cookie and is used to prefill the order-email box on a Store ticket. It is never saved to a ticket and is never shown to staff.
• Your Discord roles in the Moon SMP server, to decide what you can see.
• The list of Discord servers you are in. We store the server IDs only — not their names — and use them solely to check whether you are in a server the Moon SMP staff team has blacklisted, including cheat-client communities. Being in one results in a warning, and repeated warnings restrict you from staff applications, giveaways and events. You can appeal any warning.
• Your Minecraft username, if you have linked your account.
• Everything you write in a ticket, and any files you attach.

Discord shows you this list before you approve it. We cannot read your messages and we cannot post as you.

Cookies

One cookie holds your signed-in session, and a short-lived one protects the login round trip. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site.

Who can see your tickets

You, and the Moon SMP staff assigned to that kind of ticket. Media applications are visible to the media team; other tickets are visible to the ticket support team. Server administrators can see everything. Staff can add private notes to a ticket that you will never see.

Where it goes

Tickets are stored in our own database. Account linking data comes from the Moon SMP Discord bot. Attachments are stored with our hosting provider. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone outside the staff team.

How long we keep it

Tickets are kept indefinitely so staff can see a player's history when handling future reports and appeals.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your ticket history by opening a General Support ticket. Some records may be retained where they relate to punishments or ongoing moderation.
